Jones Street Mall

The Department of Public Works called for a complete overhaul of a drab inner city street within the sprawling TAFE complex at Ultimo.

The Glascott Group transformed Jones Street into a pedestrian boulevard for students and created a campus style environment by connecting the disjointed TAFE buildings together.

 The Glascott Group’s work comprised of

• Earthworks and demolition work - the whole street had to be excavated with 1000 cubic metres of soil and concrete removed
• Electrical cabling for overhead lighting
• Paving
• Granite works
• Granite curbing
• Planting of mature trees
